  • Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings: Wii/PS2 versions / PSP/DS versions

Review by Chris 'The Tingler' Capel. Posted on the 18th of June 2009.

"The game itself is divided into three types of gameplay – well, four, if you count fights as separate. The first is running and adventuring like a linear Tomb Raider with no jump button, with added whipping, which changes back and forth between fistfights, which I personally don't count as you’re not forced into them. Secondly, there are Time Crisis-style shoot-outs, which is the only time Indy uses his gun. Thirdly, there are ‘set-pieces’ where you have to use the Wiimote to mimic certain controls, like levers or driving."

  • Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

Review by The Tingler. Posted on the 6th of June 2008.

"The biggest amount of joy in this game comes with those little details. Whipping Willie Scott over to snog her and earning a slap for your trouble, finding Luke Skywalker struggling with his feet stuck to the ceiling of an icy cave, ‘using’ a bush in Barnett College and watching Indy wear it like a disguise in a Looney Tunes cartoon… The attention to detail in this game is superb, Traveller’s Tales really put lots of effort into this game, raising Lego Indy to a fun level far above run-of-the-mill dross like, um, Transformers."

  • Indiana Jones and the Discussion of Doom!: Page One / Page Two

Game Discussion. Posted on the 15th of May 2008.

Five Indy gaming fans sit down and discuss the four main Indiana Jones games - Last Crusade, Fate of Atlantis, Infernal Machine and Emperor's Tomb - and decide which one is the best Indy game of all time. Six categories, four games. Only one winner! Which will it be?

  • Lego Indy First Impressions

Preview by Gabez & The Tingler. Posted on the 29th of March 2008.

"The game does look like a lot of fun, but the sort of fun that I would only recommend to someone who loved the films. The developers have taken a lot of artistic licence with the material, but it still sticks rigidly to the Indiana Jones story, and the game mechanics, whilst pleasant, are not worth the price of admission on their own. It is as if a friend has taken you on one of your favourite walks and shown you areas that you had not seen before. If the walk is not your favourite then it will be a dull and annoying experience. What do you care about this side of the duck pond?"

  • Indiana Jones and the Smoke & Mirrors Act

Editorial by The Tingler. Posted on the 29th of March 2008.

"LucasArts had a big showing in 2006. There were screenshots, trailers, a website, previews... and then nothing. Indy IV is released in two months and we still have nothing official on this game. Why? Why the big publicity blitz if there was no game to show for it?"

  • Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb

Review by The Tingler. Posted on the 15th of January 2008.

"It, most definitely, is Indy. They may have screwed up quite a lot of things, but every time Indy’s hat came off in a fight I always casually picked it up straight after beating all those goons merely because it looked cool."

  • Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine

Review by Gabez. Posted on the 27th of August 2005.

"There are also plenty of neat little touches. Like the graphics, for instance. Sure, Indy’s hand has less curves than a Lego brick, but for a ’99 game this really ain’t too bad. And I’ll tell you something else: the textures are just lovely - from desert pyramids to lush jungle, ancient ruins to snowy mountains – the whole game comes alive on the screen."

  • Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Review by Gabez. Posted on the 27th of August 2005.

"What other game lets you travel the world as a cool archaeologist searching for Atlantis with decent (if occasionally frustrating) puzzles and a good plot? It’s a game that I’d certainly recommend to anyone, and it should especially be in any self-respecting Indiana Jones fan’s collection right next to their Last Crusade DVD."
