Indy loves the kids You can find this picture of a small boy in a hat in the lodge on the Mine Cart level. Press Ctrl when next to it and Indy says "good looking kid". Maybe this is one of the developer's children? Answers on a postcard please.

An artist's signature On top of that same lodge in King Sol's Mines, a member of the development team appears to have scrawled their personal signature...

I'm selling these fine leather jackets... Press F10 anywhere in the game and then type in MAKEMEAPIRATE. Indiana Jones will change into Guybrush Threepwood... it's Monkey Island 5! (sort of). Get the machete and load up a tropical level to complete the Pirate look. Oh, and try the bazooka - it fires chickens!

Map locations Take a closer look at this map then you'll be able to see Melee Island from The Secret of Monkey Island as well as El Marrow from Grim Fandango.

Max turns up This door in the 'Infernal Machine' level looks just like Max from the comic book/LucasArts game/Telltale games Sam & Max.

Hidden Room 1 - Monkey Island In the final level you can find a secret room which is a 3D replica of the Barbery Coast from The Curse of Monkey Island. Pictures of the developers scatter the walls, plus George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Indy, a Raiders ghost, and (shudder) Jar-Jar Binks. It also plays the music on a loop. It will drive you insane.

Max turns up again (and friends) One of the chalk designs you can use to vandalise ancient monuments with is Max from Sam and Max! You can also scrawl "IJ 4 SH" (meaning Indiana Jones for Sophia Hapgood), R2-D2, and the LucasArts 'Golden Guy' logo among others.

Secret level At the end of the game you can play an extra level called Return to Peru, where Indy goes back to the cave that we saw at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark. You can also get to this level if you have enough money to buy the map from the in-between level store. Don't worry about having no cash - the Idol you get at the end is worth a lot!

Hidden Room 2 - Close Encounters of the Third Kind In the Peru bonus level, there is another Easter Egg room. After whipping the Stone Head so that it falls, dislodging the giant boulder, go back and retrace your steps through the Snake Cavern so that you can jump and climb to where the boulder was. There is a room on the right with 5 switches. Press them in this order - 4 5 3 1 2. Sounds familiar? Yes, it's the Close Encounters chimes! This opens up

a room adjacent with the model of the mountain, as well as three Medical Kits and... a creepy red light hovering back and forth outside the window! Not a lot of people know about this room, including many game guides, as unlike the Monkey Island room it doesn't have a treasure inside - so you don't have to enter it to complete the game. It's just for fun!
